Easter fun comes early for children
Pastor Ryan Morton has brought some early Easter cheer to youngsters who attend Elim Church in Keynsham
A KEYNSHAM church has lifted the spirits of children who were left disappointed by the cancellation of a fun Easter event.
Elim Church was forced to scrap the Holiday Bible Club’s Easter special because of the coronavirus.
But Pastor Ryan Morton and his wife Sarah decided to bring some light into the children’s lives in these uncertainty times.
They delivered 76 Easter eggs, with an activity pack and crayons, to every child who had registered for the Easter event, just to let them know that they cared about the youngsters and that they were not facing these challenges alone.
Sarah said: “We had such good feedback from parents emailing in to the church, thanking us for what we've done in such dark times and bringing happiness to their children.”
