Vandalism and evidence of drug use in Keynsham Memorial Park
Published on: 02 Oct 2015
Keynsham Memorial Park has been hit by a spate of vandalism in recent weeks while evidence of drug use has also been found.
An arson attack on the weekend of Setember 12 and 13 destroyed a bin and an information board, while chairs from a nearby café and some temporary fencing were also thrown into the river.
The town council, which installed both the bin and board near the Bandstand, is appealing for anyone with information about the incidents to email email@example.com.
The children’s playground at the top of the park was the target on Friday, September 25, when vandals snapped a piece of play equipment off its springs.
A bonfire was also discovered still burning the following morning in the skate park, which was dealt with by the council’s groundsman. Maintenance workers have also reported finding drug paraphernalia around the Bandstand on a regular basis.
Keynsham policing team can be contacted on 101 with information.
