Father Christmas will be jumping into his sleigh to help the Keynsham Lions Club raise funds for a range of good causes and community projects once again this year.

The sleigh will be at various locations across the town and in Saltford as members of the club sing carols and collect donations.

Last year’s visit from Santa helped the club raise more than £2,300.

Residents can catch the sleigh tour at several locations on the following dates in December, starting at 5.30pm and finishing at 8pm each evening:

  • Monday, December 10 – the sleigh will visit the northern side of Keynsham at the Chandos Road and Somerdale estate area
  • Tuesday, December 15 – the sleigh will be in Saltford in the Montague Road, Manor Road, Norman Road and Stratton Road area
  • Wednesday, December 16 – it will tour the Chandag Road and Lytes Cary Road area
  • Thursday, December 17 – it will visit the Lays Drive, Coronation Avenue, Park Road and The Meadows area
  • Friday, December 18 – the sleigh will be in the Lockingwell Road, St Georges Road, West View Road and Queens Road area.
