Keynsham Light Opera Group become popstars for latest show

With a programme filled with songs that have topped the charts, Keynsham Light Opera Group’s next show is sure to be another hit.
Fresh from their last major production, the well-received Little Shop of Horrors, the group is presenting a celebration of homegrown pop music in Pop – Best of British.
The show, which will be staged at Broadlands Academy from October 18 to 22, features tributes to many of the country’s most successful acts such as Queen, Elton John, Sam Smith and ELO.
A spokesperson said: “Songs include Life on Mars, Rocking All Over The World, Greatest Day, Under Pressure, Mr Blue Sky and so many others we know you will all love.
“The show was cleverly conceived and directed by Emily Ford with Lee Tesdale as musical director.
“Make sure you book your tickets early to avoid missing out on what promises to be another blockbuster show by this award-winning group.”
Pop – Best of British will be staged at 7.30pm each night, with a matinee performance on the Saturday at 2.30pm.
