A trio who will be joining celebrated singer-songwriter Seth Lakeman on tour later this year are performing at The Space in Keynsham.
After a summer full of festivals and gigs, indie/Americana trio Wildwood Kin will play a mix of original songs and their own arrangements of covers, accompanying themselves on a range of acoustic instruments.
Comprising sisters Beth and Emillie Key and their cousin Meghann Loney, the group has been performing together for less than 18 months but they have already been shortlisted to the final four in the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards 2015, as well as winning first prize in the National Open Mic UK competition.
The girls are performing in Keynsham on Saturday, November 7, at a gig organised by Bath Festivals before they join Seth Lakeman’s tour in December. They will be supported on the night by singer-songwriter Simon Allen, who was born in Northern Ireland and now lives in Radstock. The combination of his songwriting skills, voice and guitar style made him the winner of the Bath Folk Festival New Shoots competition in 2014.
The show will be at The Space on November 7 from 7.30pm. Tickets are £6/£5 concessions and are available through Bath Box Office on 01225 463362 or through the Bath Festivals website at www.bathfestivals.org.uk.
Wildwood Kin’s debut EP, Salt Of The Earth, is available on iTunes and Spotify.
